Fogra certifications of Proof GmbH Tübingen
Proof GmbH is the world's first company certified for the new print conditions fogra51, fogra52, fogra54 and fogra59.

We created the certification proofs for Fogra on Epson SureColor P7000 and Epson SureColor P9500 proof printers. With this certification, we have once again had our quality certified by Fogra.
  • The certification proofs were created on both systems with Spectroproofer measuring devices.
  • The certification proofs were created on three proof papers: the EFI Gravure Proof Paper 4245 for fogra39, the EFI 8245OBA paper for fogra51 and the EFI 8175OBA for fogra52.
  • We are thus certified for the most important printing standards, and on both brightening-containing papers and on brightener-free 4245 paper.
  •  This year we have again performed an additional PANTONE spot colour certification, which Fogra has confirmed with the Spot Cert logo for all three tested proof standards.
  •
The creation of colour-accurate proofs has become one of the most important factors in the quality control of printed products. The Fogra media wedge has established itself as a reliable and independent control tool in prepress and printing practice for verifying the colour accuracy of digital print templates.

Proof GmbH had its proof prints certified by Fogra according to fogra39, fogra51, fogra52 in accordance with the FograCert criteria, which are based on ISO 12647-7.

The following were checked as part of Fogra certification:

  • Colour accuracy based on the Ugra/Fogra media wedge CMYK V3
  • The precision of the spot colour proof for the selected PANTONE colours
  • Colour accuracy based on the test chart ISO 12642-2, colour gamut and grey balance
  • Tone value transfer and gradient rendering
  • Register accuracy and resolution of the proofs
  • Colorimetric tone value transfer
  • Homogeneity
  • The correctness of the status information in the job ticket
