We create individual proof profiles on request based on a classic proof standard with a paper white adapted to your print run paper.
If you frequently print on a special print run paper that deviates significantly from the standard paper white of a classic proof standard, it can be worthwhile to create an individual proof profile adapted to your paper white in order to achieve a better visual match between proof and print run.

If you frequently print on a special print run paper that deviates significantly from the standard paper white of a classic proof standard, it can be worthwhile to create an individual proof profile adapted to your paper white in order to achieve a better visual match between proof and print run.
Typical applications for such individual proof profiles are:
- You print on a brightener-free recycled natural paper that is greyer than the paper white of PSOUncoated / Fogra47
- You print on a slightly cream-coloured art paper that always makes your images appear somewhat warmer than you set them up in retouching in ISOCoatedV2
- You use an optically brightened letterhead paper that appears even whiter than PSOUncoatedV3 / Fogra52
This adjustment has many advantages, but also some disadvantages:
Positive: - You receive a proof adapted to your print run paper that simulates the deviations caused by more yellowish, bluish or greyish print run paper
- The adjustment is straightforward and only requires a one-time effort for calculating and implementing the new proof profile in our proof system
- You only incur one-time costs for the creation; for all subsequent proof orders, only standard proof costs apply
- The new profile was merely "calculated" by intelligent software, so it is not based on numerous measurements of thousands of anchor points like a classic proof profile
- The new profile is no longer "colour and legally binding" like classic ISO or PSO profiles, but merely a "house standard" that can work perfectly – or might not...
- The new profile can only be used for proof printing, not for separation, as it can only be used in absolute colourimetric mode.
- In many cases, a media wedge with a valid test report can be generated based on the profile's reference values, but not always.
