Our roll-ups are printed in proof quality with EPSON Ultrachrome HDX inks on the printing system with the most precise colour reproduction of the entire printer market¹. In addition to cyan, magenta, yellow and black, the printing system has orange, green and violet as three additional colours, which enable an enormous colour space e.g. for Pantone or HKS colours on the roll-up.

Your print data is ripped on the most modern Fiery XF systems and processed including special colours, overprints, trapping etc. Our colour management system processes CMYK, RGB, greyscale and LAB colour spaces exactly as with a proof and passes the data to our printers in the highest print quality. The colour reproduction on the roll-up corresponds exactly to your selected colour space, you can place our roll-up in ISOCoatedV2 with two PANTONE special colours directly next to your 6-colour printed image brochure and will have a precise colour match. This makes our roll-ups perfect for demanding motifs and photographs or for the representation of special colours.

Our roll-up print is approximately 30 centimetres longer than the pure roll-up motif. Below the motif is a 10 cm high white area, below which you will normally find the job ticket rolled up invisibly in the cassette with important information about the print and print data, RIP, printer, rendering intent and the print profiles used. In addition, the UGRA-Fogra media wedge CMYK 3.0 is printed on. After printing, the media wedge is measured and the test certificate to confirm proof quality is printed below the job ticket. You can only see this additional information if you pull the roll-up out of the cassette slightly more than necessary. When you set up the roll-up normally, this information is not visible.

We use a satin-white microporous-coated PET film made of polyester with opaque grey anti-static backing for the colour-accurate roll-ups.

The roll-up film is suitable for extremely high-resolution print images. Due to its good stiffness and strength, the insensitive film offers excellent flatness even under various climatic conditions and is thus very easy to use. It is dimensionally stable, tear-resistant and opaque.

The satin-white coating provides excellent colour reproduction and enables previously unknown photographic qualities in combination with our Ultrachrome HDX pigment inks from Epson. The high-quality satin surface minimises disturbing reflections.

Most customers send us PDF data. We accept PDF, EPS, TIF and JPEG files for proof.

Black and white, CMYK or files with Pantone and HKS process colours. PDF files in PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 or PDF/X-4 format are optimal for proof.

PDF/X-1a (widely used outside Europe) and PDF/X-3 are traditionally print-optimised PDF files. These ISO standards ensure, for example, that fonts and images are embedded. They are recognised and desired as standard for print data exchange at most printing companies.

PDF/X-4 is the new print standard for PDF files. Unlike PDF/X-3, PDF/X-4 files can contain transparencies. PDF/X-3 was already a media-neutral standard, but 99% of all X-3 files contain only CMYK colours and process colours. PDF/X-4 is still rarely but increasingly requested by printing companies because X-4 data separation can be placed in the process chain as late as possible. The standard offers many advantages but also risks.

Proof GmbH is the only company in Germany certified by PDFX-ready for proof output of PDF/X-4 data and has been a member of PDFX-ready for several years.

In all common layout programmes, all three PDF/X standards can be selected and created during export.

After completing your order, you can upload one or more files for each item.
Each file can be up to 2 GB in size.

For example: You order 10 in DIN A3 format and 2 in DIN A2 format. After completing your order, you can upload a file with 10 pages in DIN A3 format for the DIN A3 format and two files with one page each for the two DIN A2 formats. If we should make multiple copies of something, please let us know by adding a note to the item.

Now select your file to be proofed and upload it or drag it into the upload window.

After uploading, you can check your proof data again, download it, delete it, or upload other data.

Now complete the order by clicking the "UPLOAD(S) COMPLETE, COMPLETE ORDER" button.

Your order is then no longer editable for you. We receive the notification that we can now begin data inspection and proof.

Even after completing the order, you can view your order at any time, but no longer change it.

If your data is faulty during data inspection, we will reopen the order so you can delete the faulty data and upload new data. Then please complete the order again.

Your uploaded data will remain on our server for at least 1 year and can be viewed and downloaded for verification during this time.
