Individual ICC Proofing Profile Installation

Individual proof profiles are sometimes required for CMYK and in particular for 5, 6 and 7-color proofs. Individual colors are often used in packaging printing in particular, and their characteristics are stored in individual proof profiles.

We currently proof both modified CMYK profiles and profiles with up to seven colors, whereby the first four colors must be cyan, magenta, yellow and black, although other values than the primary colors can also be used here.

Please note: If you want to use your individual spot colors such as PANTONE or HKS or Toyo with gradients, tints and dot gain curves, you must also give them individual spot color names, as our RIP will otherwise use its own stored spot colors. So please rename your individual PANTONE 123 C in the profile and in the PDF file to "P 123 C", for example, so that it is not replaced by our RIP with the internal PANTONE color.

We charge a fee to install and check a profile once. Once the workflow has been set up, we only charge the proofing costs for all further proofs with the same in-house standard.
