Cleverprinting Test Form 2020, v2 and v3 Combipack
Here we offer you a combipack consisting of a v2 and a v3 test form. This Combipack is ideal for all those who want to compare v2 and v3, old and new standard. Each profile and each standard has advantages and disadvantages. Many "warm" motifs (e.g. skin tones) look too cold when printed after v3. Conversely, neutral grey tones, printed after v2, often look a little too warm. The Combipack offers you a first-class overview here.In recent years, the Cleverprinting test form has developed into one of the most popular and most used test forms in Europe. Practical test images, printed in sheet-fed offset in one of the best printing houses in Germany, offer a first-class reference print. Whether as offset comparison print, for checking digital printing or for soft proofing, the Cleverprinting test form is the ideal test form when it comes to a reliable colour reference.
2 versions: v2 and v3
The test form 2020 is available in two versions: v2 and v3, the v2 version was printed on Dacostern 150 g/sqm. The paper has significantly less optical brightener than the Magno Satin paper we chose for the v3 version.
The LAB values of Dacostern are, according to our paper white database on Proof.de: 95,46/0,723/-3,114 (M0). The proportion of optical brighteners is indicated as "moderate".
The LAB values of Dacostern are, according to our paper white database o Proof.de: 95.09/1.399/-6.511 (M1). The proportion of optical brighteners is indicated as "high".
Variant v2:
In the v2 variant, the motifs were converted relatively colorimetrically from InDesign to ISOcoated_v2_300.icc. Printing was done according to the "old" standard. In combination with the optically not so strongly brightened Dacostern, the test form is ideal for all those who want to continue printing according to the proven old standard.
Variant v3:
In the v3 variant, the motifs were converted relatively colorimetrically from InDesign to PSOcoated_v3.icc. Printing was done according to the "new" standard. In combination with the optically brightened Magno Satin, the test form is ideal for all those who want to change to the new standard.
